In the 1990’s music was continuing to grow and spread to a large audience. With the new computers, people now could make their own mixes at home with the newly popular CD Burner. They could now use the new CDs to burn their music, and continue to spread the music. With the development of the CD, artist could spread their music to a wider audience, it made it easier to listen to in your home and out. The CD, helped make the music artists of the 90’s become even larger. The radio also grew. people began to have multiple radios in their home and could now listen to them more often and during many different activates. In 1997, one of the largest new technologies for music was introduced, the MP3 player. Before many had portable tape players, now this was a way for people to take more of their music in an easier way. This led to many new companies creating a way for the music to be able to be transferred on to the player, these companies made the player become much more popular in 1998 and 1999. In the 1990’s the new ways of listening to music stated the path for the new efficient ways we listen today.
